A couple of years ago finding another person that likes the same anime that you like was extremely hard. Not only would you have to be quite careful with who you shared your interests with, but you’d also have to find someone that watches the same genres that you watch, otherwise what’s the point, really? Since anime is so vast and complicated, simply saying that you like anime too doesn’t always mean that you like the same anime. For example, some people can only be fans of the classics, such as Dragon Ball GT or Yu Yu Hakusho, while others prefer some newer titles, such as Boku No Hero Academia or Overlord. So, what we intended for Anitaku was to make sure that no matter what, you can always find someone that shares your love for your favorite anime. When we decided that Anitaku was going to be more than just an idea on a blackboard, we made it our sole purpose to materialize what every anime fan out there was looking for from an anime related website.
So, instead of focusing on just adding a ton of stuff to the website, we want to make it a bit more personal than that. We want to make sure that no matter what, you have a good time on our website, and that this personal bond between the creators and the users isn’t broken. So, hit us up if you have any requests, if you believe anything should be changed, if you want any anime to be added, any competitions, any giveaways, share your opinions, show everybody how much you love your favorite character and most of all, don’t forget to have fun.
Anitaku wasn’t made by some big corporation that wants to just take advantage of the recent anime craze, Anitaku was made by anime fans, for anime fans. Regardless of which anime we love, we can all unite and have a blast. Even if you’ve only ever watched a couple of anime in your life, don’t worry, you are still welcome to take part in the frequent giveaways that are meant to really entice the users to showcase their skills. If you’re a good writer, a creative artist, or if you’re just good at improvising, you have just as high of a chance to win an awesome prize.
As mentioned previously, we primarily focused on creating a community, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t support individualism. In order to make sure that you can personally stand out of the crowd, we made sure to implement a design settings toolbox which is meant to allow you to create your very own profile design. So, if you make a big enough of an impact you can be sure that people will start recognizing you whenever you comment something or such. So, no matter what kind of an internet personality you want to convey, Anitaku is the perfect place for you to showoff how much you love anime and the culture behind it.
Again, if your anime isn’t in our lists feel free to contact us and we’ll make sure to get in on it in a jiffy. We plan to make our platform as interactive as possible, which is why we put so much emphasis on the community behind it. Make your mark on the website now and it’ll be left there as a milestone for our evolution. Together we can make this more than a community, we can make it a family!
